Ward Melville remains undefeated (17-0) after they crushed Connetquot (11-7) on Tuesday, May 21st for the Suffolk County Class A quarterfinal game.
The Ward Melville Patriots came out hot at the start of the game scoring six goals on the Thunderbirds. Danny Bucaro from Ward Melville started the team off with the first goal and followed up with two more goals throughout the game. The Patriots took it to a new level. After only allowing one goal up in the first quarter, they never let up since. Ward Melville scored an outstanding total of 16 goals against the Connetquot Thunderbirds. The game finished off with a final score of 16-1.
